Credentials:
Karen Wrigley, OD
Dr Wrigley, a native Philadelphian, was voted 1999's Optometrist of the Year. She has been
in practice for over 15 years. Besides general eye health, Dr. Wrigley specializes in contact
lenses, especially bifocals and difficult-to-fit cases. She has worked as a consultant to the
Philadelphia film industry and the Phillies.
Irene Musten, OD
Dr. Musten, received her degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2003. The
year before, Dr. Musten worked as our resident doctor. Her specialties include pediatrics
and ocular disease management. You will find Dr. Musten to be very caring and gentle.
Shanda Fry
Office Manager Ms. Frye, who heads our team of staff, is a graduate medical assistant who
has worked in the eye care field for over 8 years. Her post-graduate training includes
Laser Vision Consultations and Contact Lens Consultations.
Adriane Hughes
Adriane is our technician. She will help you feel confortable while gathering data for
our doctors. Adriane also assists in contact lens training classes for our new contact
lens patients. You will find her to be warm and outgoing.
Nakkia Betts
Nakkia is our front desk coordinator. She will help you schedule your appointment and ask
your questions about your insurance and vision plans. Nikki has over 6 years experience in
the optical industry. She can also help you select great looking frames and lenses.
We know your vision is important to you. When you come for your appointment, we make sure to
schedule ample time for your appointment so you will never feel rushed. Our office provides
complete eye care for both adults and children. Our comprehensive eye examinations will check
your eyes inside and out for any potential eye disorders or diseases. Your visual skills
and abilities are carefully evaluated and appropriate treatment is prescribed, whether it's
medication, glasses, contact lenses, or vision therapy. We are prepared to handle whatever
your eyecare needs are and will treat them with the latest technology. We also specialize in
tailor-made programs of eye exercises to improve visual performance. Our purpose is to make
work and study more enjoyable.
Our staff will assist you in frame styling to compliment your lifestyle. Outside
prescriptions are welcomed.
